This porcelain serving dish was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1918. The porcelain was made at the KPM Royal Berlin factory and hand painted by Hutschenreuther. There are marks from both of the factories on the bottom. The dish is 17 1/4 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high at the handle. The dish has a handle and is separated into two sections. The porcelain is masterfully sculpted with ornamental elements that look like gilded bronze. The insides of the two sections have hand painted flowers done in the style of Meissen. The flowers are realistic and colorful. All of the rims are trimmed with heavy gilding. This is a unique and beautifully crafted porcelain not often found.
