| This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It has no identifying marks. The quality of the porcelain and the style of decoration could be either German or French. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The cup features a figural handle in the shape of a butterfly. Each piece has a transfer decoration that is colored by hand. They are autumn colored leaves with berries. The butterfly has gilded accents and the rims are trimmed with gold. These cups and saucers with butterfly handles are uncommon and quite desirable. Condition: The rim on the saucer has light wear. There are no other defects. | ||
