| This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany in the late 19th century. The porcelain blank was made in Germany but the decorator used a spurious Sevres mark. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is fine and translucent. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. There are panels containing brightly colored hand painted flowers, in the Dresden or Sevres style. Borders of gilded leaves separate the panels of flowers. Beaded gold accents the decoration. This is an elegant set for display or use. Condition: Excellent | ||
