The line that can be seen in the clear base in not a crack but a "fold in the glass" that cannot be felt, top or bottom but is internal and common to some blown glass. Murano glass lamp, signed Giovanni Cenedese, in an elegant design with gold inclusions with fluting. It was made in the early 1970's and is in excellent condition. Purchased from Italy, this lamp has been rewired for U.S. current. It measures 23 1/2" to the top of the finial, 13 3/4" to the bottom of the socket, and 13 3/4" wide at the base. Murano, Seguso, standing duck with blue-green and clear glass featuring gold aventurine. This duck is 11 1/4" tall and 5" inches wide. The aventurine is subtly dispersed throughout the graceful body while the clear glass in featured in the bill, wings, tail, and feet. This piece is in excellent condition.
