| Retro or Deco Japanese vase converted to lamp base. Lovely celedadon background with beautifully hand-decorated, underglaze painting of a bluebird, plants, vines, and many flowers. It is unusually shaped because it has four sides but is not square. Mounted on a solid brass base, with an individually fashioned brass cap. The celadon lamp base has been professionally repaired on the bottom edge as may be seen in the fourth picture. The custom-made hardbacked shade is covered in a gold and beige art-printed paper, self-trimmed and edged in soutache. Rewired with a 3way socket | |||||||||
