Victor Matos Garcia (1947-) Dominican Republic 'Couple' Oil on canvas 8 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches Framed Victor Matos Garcia is a Dominican artist who has been exhibiting his work since 1978. In 1990, he won first prize in the XVII Bienal from the Museum of Modern Art, Santo Domingo, R.D. His first individual exhibition was held in 1981 at Centro de Arte Candido Bido. He has had many subsequent gallery exhibitions in the Domincan Republic including: Galeria Atelier Gazcue and Galeria Toledo. |
