Seymour Etienne Bottex was born in 1920. Considered one of the 'Old Masters' of 20th Century Haitian art. Bottex's works have been featured in exhibits in the U.S., England, France and Italy. Bottex is best known for his biblical themes as well as scenes from historical and Haitian Life.
