| This large (16") vintage Aya kachina (katsina) is clearly hand-carved with the traditional pocket knife and files. However, the occasional rough spot of carving is more than made up for by the careful, clear painting. Please see all photos for details, as he does have a few age-related condition issues. The kachina was made to hang on the wall and still has his original neck-string, but at some point a wooden base was nailed to his feet; this has been removed and will be sent along with the doll in case the purchaser wants a 'standing' kachina. | ||
