It is lovely koro incense burner in Edo era,18th century.
It is the form of legendary animal "Kirin".

The face is unique and seems to be laugh.
Unsigned.
The name of an era at the time of manufacture is written on the reverse side of a lid of the Tomobako(wooden kiri-box).

The condition of this koro is in excellent.
It has fine patina.

Measurements about : 8cm(3.14")X 10.3cm(4.05") X 10.5cm(4.13")Tall.
It comes with original wooden kiri-box.

Signed maker name "Shoubi-do" on the base also.

The impressive design is the knob.
It is made from jewel, natural jade "Hisui".
