This fine Satsuma suiteki is manufactured by the "Seikozan".
The Seikozan studio painted some of the very best Satsuma pieces.
Although almost always of small scale, there are very few that are not of the highest standard and this tiny suiteki is no exception.

Here is a very modern and elegant suiteki, its exterior is ornamented latticework design and a spout is detailed with vermilion and white enameling of chrysanthemum pattern.

Suwa Sozan 1st(1851-1922)work.

The condition of this koro is in excellent.
It has fine patina.

It comes with original wooden kiri-box.

Date : Mid Edo period, latter 17th o early 18th century.
Depicting a landscape with scenery of the peaceful spring beach in ancient times.
Sea, sail boat, picnic scene, food cart, samurai, visit to a shrine and walking.

The condition of this screen is in very best.
There are some repairs and wear due to the old age.
However, it has fine patina and beautiful taste of Japanese antique art.

Measurements about : 128.5cm(50.59") X 272cm(107.08").

It is a work of the great puppet master Yamakawa Eitokusai who continued from generation to generation from the Edo period to the early of Showa.
