An alloy of copper and gold is the alloy which added 3~5% of gold to copper.
It is used for the handicraft of Japan, such as inlay work.
If coloring processing is added, it will assume the black color with purple-blue tinge.

Fine casting vase ornamented in chisel with skein of wild goose and new moon with gold inlaid design.
Japanese poem "Haiku" is chiseled too.
This Haiku written by Kaga-no-chiyojyo (1703-1775).
This haiku is composed in case she is 7 years old...

It is fine articulated wood of Dragon shaped.
Naturalistically rendered, the body intricately carved with scales and Spine with a well-carved head legs and claws, its jaw movable.
Unsigned.
Some small damage in several places.
There is a part repaired by the foot.
Overall condition is very good.
Dating from Meiji period, later 19th century.

The rim and base are silver made.

Very fine and skillful Saya(sheath) in Meiji period(1868-1912).

The sheath of a short sword(wakizashi)is decorated in wired enamel technique(Yusen-shippo)with peony.
Both ends and center are ornamented in brass with peony with hairline engraving work "Kebori".
It work is superb metalwork technique since Edo era in Japan.
The braid is made in silk.

It comes with a certificate of "Japanese Fine Art Sword Conservation Association".
