|This is Satsuma buttons made at the end of shogunate(Edo period). An article an enthusiast would drool over. It exported to foreign countries making the button of porcelain with the order kiln of the clan based on the knowhow cultivated by the Satsuma porcelain so that Satsuma Domain at the end of Edo might produce war funds to oppose the shogunate. It descended and it had and the concern for "Japonizumu" (Japanese culture) rose in Europe, and the button made of porcelain that small to which the essence of a Japanese painting was condensed was called by the pet name of "SATSUMA", and collected serious popularity. It depicted a Samurai in armor. It is very beautiful and fine gold, salmon pink, pale orange and black color. The condition is excellent.
