A Living National Treasure Simizu Uichi Chawan, Celadon

Shimizu Uichi(1926-2004).

Shimizu Uichi is a worldwide very prominent ceramist.
He was born in Kyoto. He studies under Ishiguro Munemaro(1893-1968).
It is Grand Prix at the 1958 Brussels expo.
It will recognize to a living national treasure in 1985.
Holder of an important intangible cultural property.
Especially a celadon ware has high evaluation.

This work is a genuine excellent piece.
Signed on the base and Tomobako.

It comes with original doubleness wooden kiri-box(Tomobako) and the certificate which printed the profile.

The condition is perfect, no chip ,no crack, no wear and no hairline.
It is very beautiful color and wonderful elegance.

Measurements about: 15cm Mouth Diameter, 6.5cm Height.
