A really beautiful Nashiji little box. Small and lovely size installed on one hand. The gold and silver lacquer is magnificent and a detailed technique to be surprised is wonderful. It has extraordinary work of gold Takamakie(rise makie) of aster and bellflower with gold finish,and a half-moon with silver finish. The condition of box is excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. Dating from Meiji period, end of 19th century or beginning of 20th century. Measurements about: 6cm Width, 8cm Length, 4cm Height, 2cm Depth. |
