Dating from Meiji period, 19th century. A pair of Japanese cloisonne shippo vase. There are so beautiful and elegant. It has slight minor hairline(crack)on the body in the other one.(Enlargement 11.) It is not conspicuous for a very shallow thin crack. The color is blue-gray color. It has fine patina. The design is Ume and a Japanese bush warbler. Overall condition is very good. There are some slight wear and spots on the base of the metal part due to old age. Measurements about : 2.3cm Mouth Diameter, 5.8cm x 6.7cm Body Diameter, 15.4cm Tall. |
