Very small incense case in Edo period, about the closing days of the Tokugawa government. The condition is excellent, no chips and no cracks. The case decorated in Taka-makie work(rise makie) with the beautiful Japanese scenery, mountain, sea, pine tree and temple or old mansion. There is a small coral(the real article) on the surface of the lid. Please try put away the tiny pierced earrings in this case. Measurements about : 5.3cm(2.08")Diameter, 1cm(0.39")Tall.
