Dating from mid Edo period(1688-1764). Japanese Imari blue and white porcelain charger("sometsuke ozara")is decorated all over with circled flower and arabesque pattern("hana karakusa")in hand painted on a white ground. The exterior is decorated with flower and arabesque pattern too. The fine porcelain charger decorated in the center with triangle form peony design in the arabesque circular pattern. "Kaku Uzufuku" mark on the base. This mark is signed frequently in mid Edo period in Arita(the home of Imari porcelain, Saga prefecture.). The condition is excellent, no chip and no crack. There are some minor burning spots due to the firing in those days. Measurements about : 36.2cm(14.2")Mouth Diameter, 10.5cm(4.13")Tall.
