It is made with chinkin-maki-e technique, engraved and gold painted over gold lacquer. Artist name is Konishi Keisuke, he is a most popular Wajima Chinkin-maki-e artist in Japan. He was awarded a large number of prize at domestic exhibition. It has a roiro(high-gloss black lacquer)lacquer ground and red gradation lacquer on the bordering of the body and the cover. The design is a dandelion fluff. It is a modern and wonderful design. His name "Keisuke" chiseled on the base and signed and stamped on the back of the lid of Tomobako. Moreover, the name of Wajima lacquer artist "Daitetsu" signed and stamped next to him, on the back of the lid of Tomobako. The chinkin maki-e covered bowl set is in excellent condition, all pieces as like a new. No chip, no crack and no wear. It comes with kiri-box Tomobako and the cotton cloth for keep.
