Japanese Noh performance mask of "Zo Onna" who nobly and holy woman. A celestial nymph or goddess. Dating from Showa period, 20st century. It is made by woman artist in Showa, "Kurauchi Tomiyo". However, unsigned on the mask. It comes with original silk cloth for keep. The condition is in very good, no crack and no repaired. There are some slight minor spots. However, as for these are expressed designdly in this Noh Mask by Kurauchi that it manufactured as antique which passed though the time. It has fine patina. We have 15 pieces of this artist's Noh mask series in all. It publishes on our online catalog one by one. Measurements about : 22cm(8.6")X12.5cm(4.9"). |
