Very gorgeous Lacquered document box(Tebako)with skillful gold rise maki-e(Taka-maki-e)in Showa period, 20th century.

It is decorated with auspicious motif, pine, bamboo, ume, cherry, waterfall, mountain, the palace style main house and maple.
The inside of the lid is decorated with crane, pine and ume on the wonderful nashiji gold makie ground.
The inside of this main box has gorgeous nashiji finish.

Signed artist name "Akimasa" on the base.
Akimasa means Matoba Akimasa which is an artisan of Wajima lacquer.

The condition of this lacquered box is in super excellent, like new.
It comes with wooden kiri-box Tomobako.

Measurements about : 26cm(10.2") X 33.5cm(13.1") X 16.3cm(6.4").
