Wonderful early David-Andersen sterling silver cufflinks with enameled flowers. The flowers are enameled in translucent violet and yellow. Each face is bordered with a green enameled ring. The backs are marked with the early David-Andersen mark used 1888-1924. Pre-war examples of David-Anderson enameled jewelry is significantly rarer than post-war pieces. Origin: Norway, circa 1900. Condition: excellent, except for enamel loss to one flower petal (visible at the 12 o'clock position in the fourth photograph). Size: 9/16" diameter. |
