Gorgeous small cameo brooch featuring a deeply carved coral cameo of a maiden. The cameo is surrounded by an oval of 28 pearls with terrific lustre. The coral is very deeply carved with nice detail. The back is mounted with a folding bale, so the piece can be worn as a brooch or pendant. The back is marked "14K" and has the hallmark of Ehrlich & Sinnock (Newark, NJ 1909-31). Origin: America, circa 1910. Condition: excellent, all original, no damage to cameo. Size: 15/16" x 3/4". Weight: 6.0 grams. |
