Outstanding Edwardian openwork ring composed of eight brilliant-cut diamonds bead-set into millegrained modified lozenge shapes arranged around a central diamond, the whole surrounded by 12 brilliant-cut diamonds to form a large oval. The marking on the inside of the shank is worn, but the gold test at 14 karat. Origin: probably American, circa 1910. Condition: excellent, one diamond has a surface cleavage. Size: 7-1/4. Weight: total diamond weight is approxiamtely 3/4 carat. |
