Lovely pair of vintage Mikimoto pearl and sterling silver earrings. Each earring is set with four pearls ranging from 4 to 6.5mm. The pearls have Mikimoto’s white body with rosé overtones. The nacre is thick and the luster is excellent. The setting has bright-cut engraving for a bit of added subtle sparkle. The screwbacks are marked with Mikimoto’s hallmark and “Silver”. Origin: Japan, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 13/16” x 1/2”. Weight: 4.0 grams. |
