A magnificent pair of 18K yellow gold earrings designed as ornate pierced plaques overlaid with golden forget-me-nots and suspending foxtail tassels terminating in golden balls. The backs are bottom-hinged. These earrings are from one of the finest gold suites from the late Belle Epoque that we’ve seen. All pieces are hallmarked with French “tete d’aigle” hallmarks for 18K gold and also with an unidentified maker’s mark, “LM”.
