An unusual pair of Victorian 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks, the front faces set with cabochon amethysts. The gold surfaces are enhanced with intricate engine-turned engraving. This style of cufflink often features a cabochon sappire, but this is the only pair we've seen with amethysts. The connectors are marked "14K". Origin: America, ca. 1890. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 5/8" x 1/2". Weight: 6.5 grams. Approximate Total Amethyst Weight: .58 carat. |
