An exquisite pair of 19K yellow gold hunting cufflinks, the theme reflected in beautifully detailed images of hares and wild boars. Each animal is shown in profile within a pierced circular frame. The faces are connected by chains. The quality of workmanship is outstanding and the weight is very generous. The high-karat gold content also lends a particularly rich color. The backs bear Portuguese hallmarks for 19K gold. Origin: Portugal, ca. 1940. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 9/16" diameter. Weight: 14.5 grams. |
