A very fine Edwardian 14K yellow gold bangle bracelet, the front worked in a ribbon motif studded with diamonds. The ribbon itself is bead-set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, while the open spaces in the loops of the ribbons are set with larger round diamonds in buttercup settings. The overall appearance is very light, but with tremendous sparkle. The back side of the bangle uses a knife-edge construction to maintain the feeling of lightness. The gold setting is finely millegrained. The diamonds are estimated at VS1 clarity and J color. The clasp is marked “14K”.
