A beautiful 14K gold pendant enhanced with translucent enamels. The pendant is in the form of a viola blossom suspended from a golden stem and flanked by leaves. The flower petals and leaves are intricately and very finely enameled in shades of green, yellow, violet and rose. Pansies are much more common in enameled jewelry than their country cousins, the viola. The blossom is centered by a small seed pearl, and the pendant is finished with a freshwater dog-tooth pearl drop. The pendant is suspended from its original chain. The pendant is unmarked, but is most certainly a product of one of the Newark makers such as Krementz, Larter, Alling, etc. Tested and guaranteed 14K.
