Very pretty vintage aquamarine ring featuring a 4.0 carat oval-cut aquamarine flanked by trillion-cut stones, 1.3 carats each. The 14K gold setting is of the finest quality--notice the v-shaped prongs at the points of the trillion-cut stones to protect the edges. The aquas are perfectly clear and are of a lovely pale blue color without a trace of green. The shank is marked "14K" and has a maker's mark that I can't quite make out (possibly "GC").
Origin: America, circa 1970s. Condition: excellent. Size: 7-1/4 (the shank is quite thick and could be sized either direction). Approximate Gemstone Weight: 6.65 carats. Weight: 4.5 grams.
