A lovely pair of vintage earrings in 14K yellow gold by Tiffany & Co. The earrings are worked in a swirling pattern of overlapping leaves centered with domes of prong-set round rubies surrounded by upright petals in a sort of artichoke pattern. The gold surfaces are decorated in a Florentine finish that contrasts nicely with velvety red color of the gemstones. The backs retain the original Tiffany & Co. adjustable comfort clips. Marked “Tiffany & Co.” and “14K”. Origin: America, ca. 1955. Condition: excellent, all original. Size: 1” diameter. Weight: 16.2 grams. Approximate Total Ruby Weight: 1.876 carats. |
