| This is a beautiful Japanese wood carving Okimono of 11 face Kannon. It has wonderful 10 small different emotional face with large long ear Kannon each has wonderful expression. This is a nice for meditation,I look at her face someday as happy looks like smiling otherday she is like little angry. It is well made after carved painted with brown color Lacquer has artist mark at bottom Ko-Ho.It is stand 14.1/2in height only unperfection to the up hand finger's point has repair and connected two finger has age line but stable condition(look at my photo) otherwise wonderful Kannon from early 20th century. | |||||||||||
