A fabulous and elegant bronze with gilt details of a standing Bijin in full dress, fanning herself. The bronze is attached to a carved stained wooden stand. Signed Gyoko/ Yoshimitsu. Late 19th century. Height of the bronze figure 10.75", overall height 13.75".
