Japanese wood okimono kogo of Kinko riding a large carp. The carp springs out of the water whilst Kinko rides the carp's head by holding onto its horns. The head of the carp comes off to reveal a container. Signed Kazutomo, late 19th century Meiji Period Height 9.5"
