This is a beautiful and handcrafted Chinese yixing "GONG GEK" pottery teapot made for the kingdom of "Siam" or formerly known as Thailand. The teapot has a nice mixed colors patina of brown & purple pottery clay. The teapot has a nice brass spout, rim top & bottom, also comes with a matching color lid with brass fitting on the rim & finial. The lid has sign of restoration at the finial & inside of the collar rim. There is some restoration & chips on the lid inner rim. A small size baked pit on the bottom of the teapot. Otherwise it's in excellent condition with nice original patina. Both the lid & teapot are signed with the "GONG GEK" mark.
