This is a very beautiful pair of Japanese cloisonné vase with flying swallows in a yellow moth enamel background. The neck is decorated with fine silver with colorful chrysanthemum flowers. The top & bottom rims are constructed with bright brass. There is no signature but it's a testimonial to a Meji's master of enamellist. There are no cracks or damages, except there are surface lines in one vase near the birds that was lacked of additional polishing from the original manufacture process. Both vases have some baked pits as due to the earlier enamel & cloisonné production. Aside from this the pair are in excellent condition.
