This is a second Chinese yixing zisha teapot with a brownish color patina in the Late 19th Century. It's designed with a square base, spout & handle. The square lid comes with a square finial with only a single incised. It has an archaic pictogram design of ancient characters & people. The teapot is in excellent condition, but the lids has multiple chips on the inside. There is an artist signature on the inside of the lid & it's stamped with the studio mark on the base. Overall it's in excellent condition for its age.
