This is a rare & beautiful pair of Japanese Silver Vase Mille-fleur Thousand Flowers designed in the Early Meiji Period c19th Century with wide shaped handles draping over a bulbous body. Both silver vase are intricately designed with overlapping with multiple of different flowers, chrysanthemum, oak leaves & roses. Each vase is designed with 6 flower's petals as panels on the bottom flare of the mouth & at the base with different types of flowers, roses, oaks leaves, grapes vines, & lotus flowers in each panel. They're in excellent condition with the exception of one vase is missing a silver mark of the artist.
