This is a beautifully handcrafted & forged Japanese silver teapot during the height of the Meiji Period c19th Century. It's designed with a chrysanthemum with high reliefs with hand hammered background. The lid comes with a beautiful blossoming chrysanthemum flower. There is a previous restoration at the base between the joint of the spout & body. The silver teapot is in very good condition. It's marked & signed at the base.
