This is a superb Chinese yixing teapot MENGCHEN brass mounted on the rims, base & finial on purple & brown clay. It's nicely polished in the turn of the century. There is a repair on the inner portion of the rim, a fine hairline on the lid. Otherwise the condition is good. It's a marked & signed 'Shui Ping' in the inner lid & MENGCHEN at the base.
