| This is very pretty Nagoya Obi. Nagoya Obi has developed itself over the century to make Obi tying easier, faster, and more economical way. Ad it turns out, narrow belt side can start wrapping around the waist, and the wide part makes bow, mostly drum bow in pillow shape. It's easy, and there are many ways to make this garment into decoration such as table centerpiece(after you fold it nicely), or as table runner, or just as your favorite outfit to go with Kimono. This one is vintage Maru obi(wedding Obi) that was recycled into Nagoya Obi. As a result, it makes quite fancy Nagoya style. It's made out of quality silk with full brocade as well as its inner embroidery of mum flowers. Colors and patterns both are very fancy. The other side of this Obi is different pattern, and all very cute. Condition is good, aside from edge that was stitched is now kind of worn from its age, otherwise, it's in pretty good condition. Its wide side measures 12"wide and 40"long, and narrow part measures 6"wide and 100"long. Shipping in USA is $7 by US priority, and optinal insurance is $2.
