| This is a Kimono called Iro-Tomesode. IroTomesode is a little different from regular Kuro Tomesode which is black background. Iro means color, so Irotomesodes are usually made with colorful silk to enhance its beauty while preserving formality for the occasion. This is usually worn for party, wedding, and other formal occasions that you can think of. Family crests would indicate what noble family this Kimono owner belongs to. Isn't it quite fascinating, as we now wear cloths with designer's name on it, but not our own family crest or name! Background fabric is gorgeous mauve color, and has elegant silver, orange and green patterns. It's more subtle than some of showy Kimonos, which makes this garment practical to wear. It's fully lined, and measurements are: 49"sleeve tip to tip (sleeve length should be 3/4 arm length), 66"long and chest is 22"wide when folded in half, and sleeve length is 19". It'll make you feel like a queen when you wear this Kimono!!! Condition is excellent aside from little stains that are not too noticeable, and shipping within USA is $7.55 by Priority mail.
