Fantastic Tsuitomu Matsushita wood fired Bizen ceramic flower vase fired in a climbing kiln. C.1980. He was born in Showa 12 (1938) and studied under one of Japan`s famous Kokuho Ningen National Treasures, the famous bizen ceramic master, Yamamoto Toshu. Tsuitomu`s wood fired earthenware Bizen vases have won numerous prizes including the Dento Kogei and the Nihon Togeiten prizes. His work is also in the Copenhagen Palace.
