Antique Japanese Meiji Period Zen Buddhist Bronze Gong
Stunning large bronze buddhist temple gong, c.1900. The inscription tells us that it was donated to the abbot of Shoryuzn Kyorin Zen Buddhist Temple, the 7th Kendo-dai by a mr. Nakai Seijiro for the merit of his anscestors spirits. Used daily to be rung with a round wood striker. Ask for shipping quote. (H:65cm x 34cm)
