| Sensational eye-catching set of 5 small blue and white plates using the 'inban' transfer printing process to put this exceptional design on porcelain plates. This design is a first; tsubo vases on a cloud diaper background. Very art deco feel and were made in c. 1925. The design is etched on a copper plate, then cobalt ink is applied and rice paper catches the design and it is transfered to the porcelain plates and fired.
