Antique Japanese Meiji Period Tea Ceremony Brazier
First of its kind we have seen. A late Meiji Period C.1890 Tea Ceremony paulownia wood hibachi brazier with copper lining and bronze metal fittings. The brazier actually opens in half to reveal small compartments and shelves for Tea Ceremony implements. A museum piece. Inside the copper lining is a iron stand to hold the tea kettle over the charcoal. W:about 18"; H: about 13" ; Depth: about 12". Ask for shipping quote.
