| Finely carved 'jizo bosatsu' Kshitigarbha Bodhisattva from the Taisho Period c. 1920. Colorful buddhist robes and serene tranquil expression. This jizo bodhisatttva protects his vow to save all sentient beings in all Six Realms of rebirth. He carries a staff with metal rings and the flaming jewel symbolizing the Void.
