Wonderful mingei folk art wood & lacquer sake shop sign. Taisho Period, C.1915. The name of the sake is `Shirayuki` White Snow Sake. Red lettering on left side is is a poem: senshu kanshaku fuyo kiri meaning that even after 1000 years the makers wish this sake will be of the highest quality and shared and enjoyed by everyone. 21" tall and 16" wide.
