Spectacular pair of inner chamber gold gilt wood flower doors. The doors came from an Edo Period C.1650 buddhist shrine. On the other side of the gold flowers are gold gilt wood paulownia leaf and chrysantheum, the symbol of the Imperial family. The paulownia leaf was the crest of Hideyoshi, the second shogun. The flowers in carved relief are chysantheums. Each door is 24" tall and 7" wide. Ask for shipping quote.
