| Signed 'Ikenobu School' this antique usubata bronze tea ceremony flower vase also has the Japanese characters 'Otateshi' which is the style of flower vase preferred for flower arrangement. The bronze was dipped in hot oil after firing to produce the wonderful yutenki color effect. The top can be removed and used as a vase in its own right. c.1925. (10" x 10") (26cm x 26cm).
